Mark Montrose is
principal consultant of Montrose Compliance Services, Inc., a full service
company specializing in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and product
safety. Prior to becoming a consultant, Mark was responsible for regulatory
compliance at high-technology companies in California including management in
Regulatory Compliance. With twenty-seven years of experience, he provides
consulting services in system design, product, manufacturing and component
engineering. Work expertise includes design, test and certification of
information technology (ITE) and industrial, scientific, and medical
equipment (ISM). He specializes in the international arena for the European
EMC Directive.
A European Competent Body
(U.K.) has assessed Montrose Compliance Services for EMC approvals. This
assessment certifies Mark in providing consulting and testing to companies
wishing to enter the European market. He specializes in writing Technical
Construction Files. He is also a NARTE Accredited Test Laboratory. Assessment
is for in situ testing only of industrial products.
Mark graduated in 1979 from California Polytechnic State
University, San Luis Obispo, California,
with both a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and a
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. He completed in 1983 a Master
of Science Degree in Engineering Management from the University
of Santa Clara, Santa Clara, California.
